for 2019 rated India’s Immediate
Payment Service (IMPS) as the world’s best real-time
payment service.

It is an instant payment inter-bank electronic funds transfer
system in India managed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI)
3. ‘Gully Boy’ India’s Oscar 2020

Akhtar, the film has been sent for an Oscar for the Best
International Feature Film category.
4. Ladakhi Shondol dance enters into the Guinness book of world records

Shondol dance, has created history by
entering into the Guinness
Book of World Records as the largest Ladakhi dance.

The event was held on the concluding day of the ongoing
Buddhist carnival Naropa festival near the Hemis Monastery in Ladakh .

Boxing Championships
ü Ekaterinburg AIBA (International Boxing
Association) 2019 World Boxing Championships was held in Ekaterinburg
Expo, Yekaterinburg, Russia from September 9-21, 2019.
ü Indian boxers clinched 2
medals and it was for the first time that India had won 2 medals in the
championships.
ü Amit Panghal, lost to Shokhobidin
Zoirov of Uzbekistan by 0-5 in the 52kg category and settled for silver & Manish Kaushik secured bronze medal.
