1. RBI CUTS
REPO RATE 25 BPS:
Ø In a step to
easing loans, RBI has further lowered the Repo Rate by 25 bps to 7.5 % from
7.75 %.
Ø This is the
second time since January 2015 that RBI has made cut in Repo Rate.
Ø Reserve Repo
Rate has moved down to 6.5 Percent. Cash Reserve Ratio has remained unchanged
at 4 percent.
Ø Repo Rate: It is a
Rate at which RBI lends short term to other banks.
Ø Reverse Repo
Rates: It is a rate at which other banks either lends to RBI or gain
interest by Depositing money in RBI.

preservation amendment Bill,1995.

Approval in 1996.

the bill, BEEF will now be banned in Maharashtra.
