appointed Ruth Porat to be the new Chief Financial Officer.

succeed Patrick Pichette who
announced his retirement.

Currently Ruth
Porat is working as CFO at Morgan
Stanlay.

2) EIH APPOINTED NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR:

Oberoi is appointed
as the new Managing Director of EIH ltd.

Vikramjit Singh Oberoi will succeed Shib Shanker Mukherjee.

Currently Vikram Oberoi is a joint MD and COO (Chief Operating
Officer).

MAHARASHTRA GETS RS 2000 CRORE FROM CENTRE:

Union Government has sanctioned 2000
crore rupees for drought hit districts of Maharashtra.
Ø
The high level committee(HLC) of the National Disaster Management
Authority (NDMA) has sanctioned 2000 crore rupees to Maharashtra under NDRF.
Ø
HLC comprised of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Finance Minister Arun Jatley and Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh.
