Litterateur Balchandra Namade wins the Jnanpith award for 2014.

many famous novels from ‘Kosala’ , 1963 to his recent magnum opus ‘ Hindu’.

2) NITI AAYOG’S FIRST MEETING HELD IN
NEW DELHI
Ø First ever meeting of NITI Aayog took place in new Delhi on Friday under
Chairmanship of PM Narendra Modi.

3) ED ISSUES NOTICE TO SAHARA ON FEMA VIOLATION

illegal violations of foreign exchange rules involving an overseas Direct
Investment.

to the Advisory Committee for Trade policy and Negotiations.

(USIBC).
Ø He is also a member of Board of Director of the Dow Chemical Chempany,

OF CSIR
Ø M O Garg has been appointed as the Director General of the council of
Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR).
