1. JHARKHAND APPROVED THE FORMATION OF ANTI-TERRORISM SQUAD :
i) Jharkhand Government has cleared the formation of an Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) in the state.
ii) It will be headed by an official of the rank of Superintendent of Police.
iii) Jharkhand has become home for terrorists, the two terrorists involved in the 2002 American Centre attack in Kolkata were from Jharkhand.The accused of Patna's Gandhi Maidan bomb blasts in 2013 was also arrested from the Jharkhand.

2. TAMIL NADU LAUNCHED ‘AMMA BABY CARE KIT SCHEME’
i) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa launched the Amma Baby Care Kit scheme.
ii)Tamil Nadu government will provide accessories for the newborn children and their mother.
iii) It will include a towel, a mosquito net, an infant mattress, an infant dress, napkin, oil bottle, baby shampoo etc
iv) Amma Baby Care Kit is the latest in the list of social welfare schemes under the brand name Amma launched by the Tamil Nadu government. Jayalalithaa is popularly addressed as Amma by her supporters.

3. ‘DEEPAK LATHER’ GRABBED GOLD IN 2015 COMMONWEALTH YOUTH GAMES
i) Indian weightlifter Deepak Lather grabbed a gold medal in the 62 kg weight category of the 2015 Commonwealth Youth Games in Apia, Samoa.
ii) It is India’s second gold in weightlifting after Jamjang Deru a 17 year old who won a gold medal in the 56 kg category.
4. ANDHRA PRADESH LAUNCHED ‘E-PRAGATI PROJECT’
i) Andhra Pradesh Government launched the Andhra Pradesh State Enterprise Architecture (APSEA) ‘e-Pragati project’.
ii) It is launched to bring all the government services under one roof.
iii) The aim of this project is to provide integrated one governance that will be centric on citizens, transparent and effective.

5. ARUN JAITLEY LAUNCHED DIGITAL VERSION OF MAHATMA GANDHI'S COLLECTED WORK
i) Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Arun Jaitley launched the ‘e-version’ of the 100 volumes of the Collected Works of Mahatma Gandhi in New Delhi.
ii) It will provides varied, numerous and logical profiles of Gandhi’s life and thought, action and engagements.
