1. ‘ONE RANK ONE PENSION
SCHEME’ ANNOUNCED BY UNION GOVERNMENT
i. Union Government has announced one rank one
pension scheme for ex-servicemen.
ii. One rank one pension means
uniform pension be paid to the armed forces personnel retiring in the same rank
with same length of service, regardless of their date of retirement, at present
ex servicemen receive different pensions on the basis of their salary at the
time of their retirement

DIED
i. Famous Bollywood Singer, and Music Composer
Aadesh Shrivatava died.
ii. He had composed music for over 100 Hindi
Films.
4.’ VIKAS KRISHAN’ WON SILVER MEDAL IN ASIA CHAMPIONSHIP
i. Indian
Boxing Player Vikas Krishan has won Silver Medal in the Asian championship held
in Thailand
ii. In 75 kg category he was defeated by Bektemir
Melikuziess of Uzbekistan
