1. ANIL KAPOOR HONOURED WITH
PANDIT DINANATH MANGESHKAR AWARD:
i. Anil Kapoor is honoured with Pandit
Dinanath Mangeshkar Award, 2015.
ii. The award was presented
by noted historian and writer Babasaheb
Purandare.
iii. Along with Anil Kapoor
Marathi Actor Dilip Prabhavalkar is
also conferred with the award.
2. INDIA CROWNED CHAMPIONS AT PRESIDENT’S CUP BOXING TOURNAMENT:
i. India is crowned champions for the first time at 22nd President’s cup Boxing
tournament.
ii. India topped the list with 33 points which includes 4 Gold and 1 Bronze followed by
Mongolia.
iii. More than 130 boxers from 30 countries participated in the tournament.
iv. President’s Cup Boxing tournament held at Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia.

3. BANK OF BARODA TIES UP WITH UAE
EXCHANGE:
i. India’s foreign Bank, Bank of Baroda
has tied up with UAE Exchange for Instant Money transfer.
ii. Instant
Money Transfer facility will be provided to Bank’s NRI customers.
iii. NRI – Non-Resident
Indians.
4. BMB WON ASIAN BANKER ACHIEVEMENT AWARD:
i. Bhartiya Mahila Bank has won the Asian
Banker Achievement Award, 2015.
ii. BMB is awarded for
Technology Implementation in the Category of Best Outsourcing Project.

5. GOPINATH PILLAI AWARDED WITH OUTSTANDING SERVICE AWARD:
i. Indian-Origin Diplomat, Gopinath Pillai
is awarded with the Outstanding Service Award for his services in Singapore.
ii. The Award were organized by National
University of Singapore (NUS).
iii. Gopinath Pillai is
the special envoy to Andhra Pradesh.
